Competition F.A.Q.

What is the basic knowledge I need for the competition?

You need to have CCNA knowledge. In order to register for the competition you have to be an instructor. There is no upper knowledge limit for this competition.

What can I expect during the Qnline qualifications?

Each online qualification includes the following tests:

•Technical quiz: CCNA related questions

•Packet Tracer test: A Packet Tracer activity to test your hands-on skills

What I (as instructor) need to do after registration?

After you register on the competition portal you have to enroll on Round1 course. There the competition will take place on this course.

What time in advance should I login to the quiz?

We recommend you to login at least 10 minutes before the official time of the online qualification. Technical support will be available 30 minutes before the start of the online qualification.  

Do I need to install special software?

Yes, for each quiz you will need Packet Tracer. We recommend you to install the latest version of PT that can be downloaded from Cisco Networking Academy web page: http://cisco.netacad.net. Packet Tracer is available for download after you login to your instructor account. You need to have Packet Tracer version 5.2 (or upper) installed on your computer.

Do I need to join the quiz exactly on time?

You should join each quiz exactly on time. Remember that we recommend you to login with about 10 minutes before the quiz starts.

Do I need to a permanent Internet connection?

Yes, during the Quiz time you need a permanent Internet connection. The Packet Tracer activities will be downloaded and uploaded from/to the competition portal.
